DIY; Pretty Garden Mushroom Decorations

From Pinterest, to my Blog.. to your Garden..

Hey guys, I thought I would share this great Garden idea with you that I came across the other day. These mushroom garden gnome type things were found posted on Pintrest, by someone that I follow, so I thought I would give it a go myself.
Go on.. Give it a go..

EASY, FAST AND SIMPLE
What you’ll need;

-      3 Rustic, Different sized Log/Thick branches £FREE
-      3 Medium sized bowls (Not too deep) £1 Each
-      Any colour Spray Paint of your choice £1.50
-      White Weather resist paint (waterproof) £1.50
-      Silicone gun/ Glue gun £2- £5

How to make it;

1.       Prepare the bowls, first you’ll need to wash the bowls in hot soapy water, to remove any grease that may stop the paint from sticking.
2.       Next take some sandpaper and lightly rough them up, not a lot as you don't want the scratches to show through the paint
3.      Take them outside and lay on some newspaper. Give them a good spray with your choice of spray paint. Let dry and then give them another coat. You don't want any drips so watch closely as you spray
4.      When they have dried start painting spots directly onto the paint. You want to vary the sizes of them, then leave them to dry and if necessary do a second coat over.
5.      The next step is to make sure you log/branch is level, you may have to cut the ends until it sits right.
6.      Use a hot glue gun or silicone glue gun to secure the bowls to the branches, allow to dry before packing them into the ground.

ENJOY, Email me yours and ill drop them on my blog for everyone else to see, the most creative/cutest will win a surprise garden gift made by me.
